Every new day crowns you with new and great opportunities.
You have been inherently designed to overcome, subdue and conquer. You are equipped to overcome difficulties, subdue your enemies and conquer new territories on the earth; things above and things below. You are a bad “mamma jamma”. That’s a funky 1970s word for awesome.
WHAT ARE YOUR POSITIVE AFFIRMATIONS
Affirmations are phrases that you say or think. Positive affirmations are phrases designed to direct our thought patterns from negative thinking and declarations that line up with the good results you desire.
The outcomes we seek of peace, prosperity, focus and the like require a new way of thinking and speaking. Your inner self-talk if left unchecked can become the voice of doubt, fear and unbelief.
Have you ever considered that negative thoughts and fears are like cancer cells eating through the body?
Every thought you think and every word you speak is an affirmation. All of your self-talk (your internal dialogue) is a stream of affirmations. You’re using affirmations every moment whether you know it or not. You’re affirming and building your life experiences with every word and thought.
Be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Romans 12:2
Negativity is often inner turmoil. Affirmations along with thoughtful evaluation and meditation — help to create new positive thought patterns.
Positive affirmations work to block out negativity and as you continue with daily affirmations, meditation and prayer; you will notice that the negative things in your life start to dissolve and disappear.
Affirmations are realistic, attainable sayings.
YOUR THOUGHTS CREATE YOUR REALITY
Whatever you tell yourself, often enough, becomes your reality. Your belief system — believes whatever your mind tells you, for better or for worse. What you feed your mind feeds you.
What you think directly influences how you feel and how you behave. So, if you think you’re a failure, you’ll feel like a failure. Then, you’ll act like a failure.
People are not failures per se’. Our attempts may fail, but we are not a failure. We should never give. We should try and keep on trying. Fall and keep on getting up.
Great inventions and successful businesses don’t materialize overnight. Through the constant determination of unyielding attempts at one’s goals and aspirations — do great ideas become profitable realities.
KEEPING IT POSITIVE
One of the primary purposes of positive affirmations is to bring good things to your life. Positive thinking creates optimism, confidence and courage. It also affects your energy level in a positive way.
Life is all about perspective. You choose how you see people and situations in your life. Self-affirmations help you to view these in a better manner so that they are a positive force in your life. It’s all about taking back the controls. You are navigating your life according to all that is good, productive and beneficial. This is not magic but when you add faith to your words; miracles can happen.
Speaking positive words is simply a tool to assist you with the great life your Heavenly Father intends for you to have.
The pessimist sees the difficulty in every opportunity; an optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty. Winston Churchill
Positive affirmations allow you to achieve your capabilities, strengths and talents. Fear is a choice but when you have positive self-talk; you become directed and motivated. Positive affirmations help transform what you think and how you think.
Repetition helps the mind remember positiveness in times of confusion and turmoil.
By using this method; you influence your subconscious mind and in turn, it transforms your habits, behaviour, attitude, responses and even reshapes your external life.
The best times for repeating your affirmations are soon after you wake up and before you go to sleep. At these times your conscious mind is most sensitive to actually remember what you’re saying.
The mental and emotional benefits of daily affirmations have been scientifically supported. Like with most things in life, the hardest part is getting started.
It might seem silly at first but the results are real. Start affirming yourself today. Try every day–all you need is a few minutes.
Create single sentence affirmations like:
- I am blessed and my day will be blessed.
- I am attracting God’s blessings today.
- I am a blessing to others.
- I am starting new projects towards my dreams today.
Post these affirmations on your refrigerator or bathroom mirror so you can remember to do them right there and then.
We all need more positivity in our life.
